I came across this platform called ReDorm and a few things caught my eye. If we collect items and list them online for students to order over the summer, revenue can increase 3-6x compared to the traditional sidewalk sale model. That sort of thing would usually be impossible to do except they have a database of 500+ items already built-in, so we would just add the product quantity and it already has the description, the photos, and the MSRP. Because of that pre-built inventory, it auto-calculates weight and carbon emissions instantly and its not just guesstimates anymore. On their site, they have a business plan generator that shows estimated costs and revenue as well as an AASHE STARS checklist. Looks like we would more than break even and even move up our STARS tier. I’ve attached their one-sheet and pitch deck with the specs, and linked here is their website.
